Is Ken about to move to Hull to be with her?
Ken is gutted when Martha breaks the news to him that she starts rehearsals on a new play in Hull tomorrow. Having heard from Brian that Ken made a night of it with Martha, Wendy’s put out.
Unsure whether to follow his head or his heart, Ken’s stunned when Martha suggests he should move to Hull with her!
When Nigel announces that the theatre is flooded and the play cancelled, Ken secures the bistro, asserting the show must go on. And it's Martha to the rescue when one of the leads then breaks a leg and she offers to take her place.
As Martha introduces herself to Wendy, she apologises for stealing Ken away from her. But when Wendy reveals that wasn’t the case and she broke up with him, will Martha re-think her future with Ken?
Meanwhile, Brian tries to show Mary a review of the play in the Gazette but she refuses to read it, convinced the whole performance was a disaster.
