As Faye makes her escape, will Mary be alright?
Despite Rhona's initial reluctance, Mary is delighted when she eventually offers her blessing for her big trip to Ecuador.
Later, at the auction, Suzy is mistrustful when Faye is cagey on a bank transfer for the auction fund and tells Mary of her suspicions. Mary, however, is affronted by Suzy’s claims and sends a large donation to Faye to double down on her commitment.
The next day, when Suzy offers Mary more evidence that Faye isn’t who she seems, Mary desperately wants to believe her dream is still intact and tries to shut her down.
However, after testing the waters with Faye, Mary is forced to accept that Suzy is right after Faye starts acting coy over finances.
Knowing the jig is up, Faye coldly reveals her true nature, but when a kerfuffle ensues over an envelope of money, Faye makes her escape and Mary is left bleeding and concussed.
