Max goes AWOL on his wedding day as his affair threatens to ruin Cindy's big day in EastEnders

It’s a double wedding day as Cindy and Max, and Kim and Howie prepare to say, ‘I do’.

Unbeknownst to Cindy, Max has gone AWOL, and the family panic as they secretly try to track him down. And Cindy is upset to discover that most of Walford are opting to attend Kim and Howie’s wedding over hers.

Meanwhile, a hungover Max heads to Peacock Palace to speak to Linda, but an argument erupts between the pair when it’s revealed that Max has been having an affair with Priya.

Heading to the car lot, Max finds Priya, who's furious to discover that he’s told Linda and as the pair argue, Lauren arrives. Having overheard it all, Lauren refuses to attend the wedding.

As he heads home, Max faces the wrath of Jack and Oscar, but the pair manage to get him to the wedding venue on time.

However, as Max and Cindy prepare to say their vows, it's not long before Linda and Priya arrive. And chaos erupts at Max and Cindy’s wedding.

Later, the fallout of Max and Cindy’s wedding continues, and emotions remain at an all-time high.
