Max makes a grand gesture towards Cindy as tensions rise with Linda in EastEnders

Jealous of Max and Cindy, Linda is buoyed by Grant, who encourages her to pamper herself.

Later, Grant gives Linda food for thought after Elaine tells her that Johnny has money problems, and Linda tells Denise she’s selling her share of Fox & Hair.

But when Linda offers Johnny the money from her share of Fox & Hair, Johnny refuses to accept and orders her out of his business.

When Grant tries to cheer Linda up, she snaps at him, and he heads to the café, where he gives Johnny some home truths.

Meanwhile, as Max and Cindy celebrate their joint birthday party in Harry’s Barn, tensions grow between him and Linda when he discovers that she’s slept with someone.

Through jealousy, he asks Cindy to move in with him, and she accepts!
