Max takes revenge on Tim after Linda's confession in EastEnders

But has Max gone too far?

Worried for Johnny, Linda admits to Elaine that she could have stopped Tim’s ‘test’ on Callum. Against Elaine’s advice, Linda tells Johnny the truth, and he is furious with her for interfering.

Later, Johnny is forced to meet Tim at the office to sign the paperwork and is mortified when Linda turns up to berate Tim. Johnny sends her away, but when Tim insists on going for a drink, things get worse as Callum arrives.

Meanwhile, Linda confides in Max, who later takes matters into his own hands by pretending to be Tim’s taxi driver. As his plan unfolds, Max makes it clear to Tim that he should never set foot in Walford again.

When a frantic Linda tells Johnny that Max has taken Tim, he’s got bigger things to worry about when he’s forced to tell Callum what happened.

At first, Callum is furious, but after Johnny explains how he was trying to protect him and Lexi, he is consumed with guilt.
