There’s exciting news for Serena as she discovers she’s landed a place on Team GB for the commonwealth games. But how will she tell her parents about her secret training?
Meanwhile, working another late night, Maxine becomes worried that she won’t be able to afford Minnie’s after-school care. After confiding in Dave, he offers to help her financially using Serena’s athletic fund.
Things turn sour at the Chen-Williams when Serena overhears Dave offering Maxine the money meant for her and confronts him about giving up her happiness. As things get heated, Maxine blurts out Serena’s news. But will it be well received?
Later, Maxine organises a night out with Lizzie and Serena, but some friendly competition and a few drinks lead to painful consequences for Serena.
