Michael is stopped by the police in Corrie as systemic racism storyline begins

But when he invites Grace to stay at No.3. How will Aggie react?

After confiding in Ed that she worries Michael will propose to Grace again, Aggie seizes the opportunity to give Grace both barrels when Michael runs late for lunch, telling her he's better off without her.

Michael arrives home just as Grace hurries out and is devastated to discover that Aggie gave Grace her marching orders. Racing after her, Michael is stopped by a police office who wants to question him about a robbery.

Furious, Grace approaches the police officer and accuses him of racism. When the office lets Michael go, he pleads with Grace to hear him out. Returning to No.3, Michael tells Aggie that Grace is moving in whether she likes it or not. Reluctantly, Aggie backs down.

As Grace moves in, Aggie and Grace snipe at each other until Michael steps in orders them to make an effort. As they both paint on smiles over dinner for Michael's sake, he wonders how on earth Aggie and Grace are going to be able to keep up the facade.

Corrie continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV
