As Yazz’s health deteriorates, her mum rushes her to A&E to get some answers for her recent behaviour. While Peri is examining her, Yazz harasses her for updates about Rayne’s case, causing Peri to explode.
Later, Sharon takes over the case and as Yazz prepares to get her hospital results, the wait gets too much for Misbah who checks the results herself. What will they tell her?
After realising that she wants to return to working in the hospital, Misbah prepares for her interview, on a mission to prove that she has changed and is ready to return.
At the Maalik’s, Tom finds Yazz investigating Rayne’s murder for her new podcast and Lizzie overhears the couple arguing, stealing Yazz away to give her a chance to vent.
In return, Yazz tells her about her podcast, suggesting it may be a chance to let Lizzie open up about Rayne’s death.
