Nicola struggles to leave baby Ivy as she pushes George away in EastEnders

Will Ivy’s fight bring them together or tear them apart?

Still recovering, Nicola remains in isolation, growing increasingly frustrated that she cannot see her baby.

During a visit to the NICU, George is offered the chance for skin‑to‑skin contact, which he declines, believing Nicola should be the first.

Unable to see Ivy, Nicola blames George for the situation, convinced he was too distracted by Knight Fusion, and she’s determined to see her daughter.

When Nicola is finally able to hold Ivy, the touching sight prompts George to tell Nicola he loves her, but she doesn’t say it back.

When hearing of the exchange, Harry suggests Nicola doesn’t let her past ruin her future.

Worn out and tired, Nicola and George continue to visit Ivy, struggling to leave her.

Later, Penny goes to see Nicola and shares the fake DNA results with her, worried she will see through her lie.

Later, Nicola softens towards George.
