Meanwhile at the café, Nigel attempts to surprise Julie with a trip to India, and Oscar suggests he sell his car to help fund it. Selling Nigel's car, Oscar suggests the pair take it for a final spin, but Julie reprimands them both and reminds Nigel he can’t drive.

As Jean and Julie share a drink at The Vic, Julie is delighted when Nigel later reveals that he’s taking her to India.

Elsewhere, Oscar continues his mission to impress Jasmine and is thrilled when she accepts his date invite.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
