Paddy comes up with a plan to save his dad in Emmerdale

But will it work?

After checking himself out of the hospital, a struggling, paranoid and terrified Bear shambles along an isolated country road, hiding from any passing traffic.

Paddy is distraught, having spent the night fruitlessly searching for Bear. And things soo get worse for Paddy and Dylan when DS Walsh calls round. As a result of Bear breaching his bail and assaulting Jacob in the hospital, he’ll be held on remand when he’s found.

Finding Bear in a bad way next to Anya’s now-empty grave site, Paddy coaxes him back to his car. Knowing he needs to inform DS Walsh, Paddy thinks he can avoid Bear’s immediate imprisonment by paying for him to stay at a secure mental health unit. But will Paddy’s plan work?
