Can Frankie find Charlie before it’s too late?

 23-29 MAY

With Charlie prepared to plead guilty, Nancy and Darren offer their support on the day of his court case.

Over at the hospital, the Keanes are in high spirits as they’re told Caleb can come home. But when Charlie visits him in hospital to try and apologise, Caleb reminds him that whatever happens in court won’t take back his injuries. And Misbah tells Charlie he must leave.

Opening up to Misbah about his worries about being dependent on his family, Caleb is comforted by Misbah's words.

Later, Beth finds Charlie, scared and turning to drink outside The Dog, and Jonah busies himself making the house accessible for Caleb.

When Charlie has a panic attack, Nancy tries to calm him, whilst Darren confronts Beth for causing Charlie extra anxiety. As Jonah tries to defuse the situation, Nancy arrives panicked that Charlie is missing.

After searching for Charlie all night, Darren returns and panic hits when the police turn up at the door to say that, as he ran away, once Charlie is found, he will go straight to prison.

In the village, Frankie bumps into Caleb while looking for Charlie, who admits he enjoys spending time with her, and he wants to move forward.

However, not wanting him to make things any worse for himself, Frankie wants to find Charlie.
