He'll lead intimate interviews with survivors of toxic relationships.

U&W has announced the return of its hit true crime series Red Flag, now titled Paul C. Brunson: Red Flag, as the relationship expert joins the series to lead intimate interviews with survivors of toxic relationships, revealing the red flags that signalled the emotional manipulation and shocking consequences that tore them apart.

Each episode will empower a survivor of romantic abuse to share their emotional story with Paul in their own words, allowing him to decode the hidden dynamics of unhealthy relationships, bringing empathy, clarity and authority.

On joining Red Flag, Paul C. Brunson said "Red Flag is an important series that shines a spotlight on manipulative behaviour that a lot of us think we will never fall victim to."

"The stories explored in this series are deeply personal and I am honoured that the contributors are willing to share their experiences with me and U viewers. It’s important to me that this series is not just re-telling stories but unearthing shared human experiences."

Produced by FirstLookTV in association with SOAR Productions, Paul C. Brunson: Red Flag will be produced by Graham Smiles, and executive produced by Will Hanrahan for FirstLookTV, in association with Paul C. Brunson’s SOAR Productions.

Paul C. Brunson: Red Flag has been commissioned by Emile Nawagamuwa, Commissioning Editor with Helen Nightingale, Head of Factual and Factual Entertainment Commissioning and ordered for U&W by Adam Collings, Director of Programming of Factual and Factual Entertainment and Hilary Rosen, Director of Commissioning.

Speaking about the new series, Emile Nawagamuwa said, "We are delighted to be working with the brilliant minds of Paul C. Brunson and FirstLookTV on a new series of Red Flag. Paul’s introduction to the series elevates Red Flag beyond a retrospective anthology, into an innovative true crime concept, combining a globally recognised and much-loved host with a universally shared real-life concept."

To which Adam Collings added "Red Flag was an important and pivotal moment for U, introducing new true crime stories to the service. It was an eye-opening watch that viewers were gripped by. We are excited to bring this series back with Paul C. Brunson at the helm. I know U and U&W viewers will be delighted to have him on their screens."

And Will Hanrahan said "Programme-making with purpose featuring stories told in a gripping, compelling way is what FirstLookTV is all about. In both devising this format and aligning ourselves with such a respected series of channels in the UK, we are producing important content which is also hugely popular."

"We will be working closely with our contributors who will be helping us forge a new perspective in the True Crime genre; that of the survivor. Teaming up with Emile, again, and bringing the fabulous Paul C. Brunson on board is incredibly exciting."

Paul C. Brunson: Red Flag will air later this year on U and U&W
