Penny goes into labour as her secret threatens to rock the Panesars in EastEnders

Will she tell Vinny the truth before someone else does?

Penny worries about the baby as she experiences labour pains, but she’s soon reassured by the hospital that everything is fine.

On the day of Vinny’s 30th birthday party, Penny and the family prepare to make it a day to remember. But when Lauren notices that Penny is upset, she reveals that she is going to tell Vinny he might not be the baby’s dad. Despite Lauren trying to convince her otherwise, Penny is adamant.

At the party, Suki upsets Penny, and she heads outside, but before she has a chance to say anything, her waters break!

With Vinny oblivious to the drama unfolding, Harry and Gina desperately try to sober him up to get him to the hospital.

Once alone, Penny tells Lauren she’s decided not to tell Vinny he might not be the dad, but someone else has overheard.

Later, the Brannings and the Panesars come together for the Naam Karan of Vinny and Penny’s son. But when the mystery listener arrives and confronts Penny, in revealing their cards, another secret is uncovered.
