Penny’s shop opening takes a dramatic turn in EastEnders

Can Vinny convince her to put her health first?

Vinny tries to encourage Penny to focus on the baby, but it’s clear she is too consumed with the shop preparation and later senses Vinny’s upset, so agrees to go to an antenatal class.

On the day of Penny’s shop opening, Vinny is preoccupied trying to get her to go to the doctors for her swollen leg. Annoyed by his fussing, Penny orders him to leave, but she later falls out of her wheelchair.

Suki finds Penny on the floor and tells Penny to stop being so proud and let Vinny help her.

Guilty, Penny heads to the shop for its grand opening, but on the way, she struggles to breathe, which Max and Priya spot, who rush her to the hospital.
