On the day of their baby scan, Peter reassures Lauren. However, Peter is later distracted at Beale’s Eels when he receives a phone call from Gita who reveals that Cindy has gone AWOL, and he misses the scan.
Later, Lauren scolds Peter for his lack of care and is angry that Cindy continues to haunt their family.
At Beale's Eels, after Kathy and Ian encourage him to make amends with Lauren, Peter later proposes, but Lauren declines. And at No.45, Lauren explains to Peter and Kathy that she can’t accept.
Soon, Peter heads back to No. 29A for a crisis talk with Lauren.
