How will Sharon react when Phil breaks the news?
As Karen splashes the cash in The Vic, Mitch is unimpressed whilst Phil gets suspicious.
Later, as Mitch goes to confront Keanu over the kidnap plot and involving Karen, he's unrepentant. Rattled by his family’s behaviour, Mitch ends up in an accident when his van hits Harvey’s taxi.
As Kat demands he pay for the damage, Karen goes behind Mitch's back to settle the debt using the stolen Mitchell money. But when Phil examines the notes Karen gave Kat, he sees that they are marked bills.
With Kat demanding more proof, Phil sets Sam on the case and gets the evidence he needs to prove Karen and Keanu staged Albie’s kidnap.
On a mission to prove he's right, Phil starts at The Arches, but when Kat catches him searching the place, he shares his evidence and she's incredulous. Kat suggests that if Karen’s got the money, it’ll be hidden closer to home.
When Phil turns up at 23b, he gets turned away by Felix so he sneakily sends Tommy over and the youngster finds the money hidden under Karen’s bed.
Meanwhile, as Sharon excitedly announces she and Keanu will hold their wedding reception at The Vic on Christmas Day, Phil bursts in to tell her that Karen and Keanu staged Albie’s kidnap for money.
