Could Grant help Phil in his time of need?
8-14 FEBRUARY
Against his wishes, a concerned Sharon convinces Phil to see the doctor. Irked by Sharon’s meddling, once back at No.55, Phil verbally lashes out at her, forcing her to leave.
Later at The Vic, Martin, Ruby, Stacey and their kids reminisce on old times and whilst Kathy and Sharon are warmed by the nostalgia of the moment, it’s clear Sharon’s mind is on Phil.

At No.55, Phil’s mental health continues to decline as he starts hallucinate.
Meanwhile, after making all the preparations for Billy and Honey’s Sten-do, when the day finally arrives, Teddy pulls out all of the stops for his brother. But Sharon struggles to enjoy herself as she continues to worry about Phil.
And her concerns deepen after Mo reveals that Phil paid for the event. When Phil disappears, Sharon orders a search as we see Phil struggle to decipher reality as his mental health worsens.
Unable to trace him at No.55, Sharon, Jay, Billy and Honey frantically search for Phil. As his depression continues to take hold, Phil experiences symptoms of psychosis in the form of hallucinations depicting scenes from the Mitchell family home in 1985.
During his hallucinations, Phil will act as a bystander to a pivotal moment from his adolescence.
As Phil’s negative internal dialogue worsens, the hallucinations will also transcend into Phil’s life as he starts to converse with the characters from his past, as well as his former younger self back in Walford in The Square and at No.55.
After Jay manages to track Phil down back at No.55, Sharon arrives for a crisis talk but Phil insists he’s fine and sends Sharon on her way.

However, it’s not long before Nigel arrives home with a visitor who he hopes can help Phil in his time of need. Grant Mitchell is back!
