Will Pollard accept Mack's bribe?
Ryan catches Mack red-handed with a treasured keepsake of Pollard’s, Val's coat! Urging Mack to do the right thing, Ryan threatens to tell Cain what Mack’s been up to.
The next day, still unimpressed with Mack’s behaviour, Ryan is still contemplating getting Cain involved. And tempted to rekindle things with Faith, Pollard knows the pain it would cause Brenda.
Later, Mack cockily turns up at Pollard's barn offering him a quid pro quo; the return of Val’s coat in exchange for Aaron’s freedom. As the stand-off between Pollard and Mack escalates, Pollard suffers an angina attack and he slumps to the ground. Will Mack decide to help him, or not?
The next episode, we see Pollard in hospital and as Faith rushes to be by his side, her visit doesn’t quite go as she hopes for. When Brenda arrives at the hospital, she's met by Faith in the corridor who tells her that "Brenda" was the first word Pollard spoke when he came round.
Does that mean Pollard has made his choice? Mack soon thinks he’s got a way of solving his problem? And Mack thinks he’s got a way of solving his problem.
