Shocked to hear it was Pollard who orchestrated Vic’s firing from The Hide, Brenda orders him to make amends immediately.
Later, Pollard offers Victoria a job in the shop which she gratefully accepts. However, Brenda is horrified that Pollard gave her a job without coming clean about his involvement in her firing. Will he do the right thing?
After pressure from Brenda and overwhelmed by guilt, Pollard finds himself admitting that he made Jai sack her from the Hide and faces the full force of Vic’s ire for masterminding her sacking and leaving her penniless. He tries to explain his recent decision-making, but Vic’s too hurt to let it excuse his actions.
As Victoria tries to talk, Aaron’s too preoccupied with someone on his phone to listen properly. When Aaron tells her how she can use the circumstances of her sacking to her advantage, Vic is left thoughtful.
