Ray locks Debbie and Kevin in walk-in fridge as he returns to the Corrie cobbles in disguise

But for how long? And will others realise he's alive?

After reminding Abi that she saved her life, Debbie reveals to Ray's accountant Miles, how she has no intention of allowing Ray a new life in Turkey and instead, he’s going to prison.

Calling in the bistro, Abi suggests to Debbie that they should tell Kevin the truth about Ray as he's clearly suspicious - only Debbie won't hear of it. And when Kevin and Abi spot Mick the thug lurking outside the bistro looking for Ray, Kevin tells him to speak to Debbie.

Worried for Debbie’s safety, Abi tells Kevin how it was Debbie who called an ambulance and saved her life, but in self defence ended up killing Ray and disposed of his body in the river.

Not trusting Debbie one bit, Kevin suspects she's lying and thinks Ray is still alive. Only Abi thinks he's being ridiculous and stops him from following her.

As Gary and Faye appear in court, Debbie tells Sally that she'd like to use Ray's money to hire the best lawyer for Faye. Sceptical, Kevin says he's had enough and downs his tool, and says he's decided to join Jack on his school camping trip.

In the bistro, disguised as a workman, Ray overhears Debbie discussing her plans with Miles and furiously tells her that he knows her game, forcing her into the walk-in fridge. But as he goes to lock her in, Kevin manages to hit him over the head with a frying pan.

As he tries to rescue Debbie, the door slams and they both realise that they're locked in the fridge. Both deeply worried, Kevin and Debbie prepare for a long night in the fridge.

Corrie continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV
