Revelations lead to a car veering off the road and submerging itself in a lake in EastEnders

Putting his new plan into action, Zack goes to Ravi for a loan to fund his escape, who warns him not to mess with Nicola and reveals she recently asked him to help move a body.

When Zack confides in Linda, she convinces him to go to the police with this information to protect Barney, and what he tells DC Powers is enough to get Nicola arrested.

When Zack sees Harry’s reaction to Nicola’s arrest, he goes to see him and reveals the truth about Barney’s paternity, hoping Harry will help him get Barney away to safety.

Later, when Nicola is released, Harry reveals the truth to Teddy. That he is not Barney’s dad, Zack is.

Nicola tries to deny Zack’s paternity but is forced to come clean when Teddy continues to press her on the facts.

A painful confrontation unfolds as Teddy demands answers, but both he and Nicola are shaken when Harry reveals Zack’s plan to leave with Barney.

Later, Harry takes drastic measures to stop Zack and bundles him into his car boot before speeding out of Walford.

Fearing his son’s action, Teddy intercepts Honey, Billy and Nigel on the way to the cinema and demands a lift to follow Harry and finally reach him before he can see out his plan.

However, just when it looks as though Teddy has sorted everything, things take a turn for the worse when a car veers off the road and submerges itself in the lake.

The survivors scramble bankside to try and save those trapped within the vehicle.

As news of events reaches Walford, Vicki takes matters into her own hands and heads to No.1 to reveal a truth. And the fallout of Vicki’s outburst leaves Barney stunned.
