Ross is horrified by a shocking discovery on Joel’s laptop in EastEnders

What is Joel hiding, and how far will Ross go to protect his son?

Following advice from Vicki, Ross takes Joel and Tommy to work at the timber yard, but soon grows concerned for the boys when he overhears some of the language from other workers on the site.

Later, Ross pales to receive a call from Joel’s mum before steeling himself as he informs Joel that his mum is getting remarried.

Slipping out, Joel heads to The Vic to hang out with Tommy, but it’s not long before he leads him astray and the pair steal drink from the barrel store.

Later, Ross, Vicki, Kat and Alfie find the pair and rile at them for their behaviour, but Joel lashes out with derogatory language towards Kat leaving the parents shocked.

As he and Vicki chastise Joel, Ross attempts to get through to his son and they later bond as Joel shares a video that Ross perceives as innocent from Joel’s idol influencer. But the moment is short-lived when Ross makes a worrying discovery on Joel’s laptop and destroys it.

Being cold towards Joel, Ross refuses to let him come to work and Vicki is later shocked to discover the real reason why Ross broke his laptop. She orders Ross to be firm with Joel before his behaviour gets out of hand.

Soon, Ross has a heart-to-heart with Harvey in the café which gives him food for thought. And later, Joel apologises to Kat, who allows him to hang out with Tommy.

In The Vic, Vicki and Stacey bond as they discuss parenting and men, but Joel gets annoyed as he overhears their conversation, before showing his true colours.
