Ross pushes Vicki too far as Joel's future becomes clear in EastEnders

Ross and Harvey plan to obtain the keys to Martin’s shed from Jean to repurpose it as a man cave.

When Zack learns of their intentions, he initially objects, considering it disrespectful. However, after speaking with Barney, he realises that Martin would have appreciated the idea, and he helps persuade Jean, who discovers Ross and Harvey attempting to take the keys anyway!

With the clean-up of Martin’s shed underway, Ross confides in the men that he’s paranoid about Vicki’s recent behaviour since she admitted she slept with someone else. Zack tries to hide his guilt and give Vicki the heads-up, but is interrupted when Ross rushes in with news regarding Joel’s sentencing.

As Ross and Vicki confront the reality of Joel’s future, Vicki, despite her uncertainty, remains determined to work it through with Ross as a couple.

After Zack pushes her to be honest about her feelings, Vicki admits her hesitation, prompting Ross to make an ill‑judged comparison, and Vicki storms out!
