When Mercedes strikes up a blossoming friendship with Sharon, she opens up to her about why she and Felix don’t have DeMarcus’ blessing and she offers to have a word with the concerned teen to help heal the wounds that have been created in the family.
While helping DeMarcus with his studies, Sharon tries to put in a good word about Mercedes and when his dad’s girlfriend comes to drop off Felix’s favourite childhood sweets for him, the kind gesture doesn’t go unnoticed.
