In the Rovers, Gemma lets slip to Tim that Bernie caught Brody trying to do a runner with the girls and he confronts Brody over his plan, assuring him that social services only want what’s best for all three of them and they have to trust their judgement.

When Tim reveals to a shocked Sally that Brody was planning to do a runner with the girls, Brody breaks the news to Joanie and Shanice that their Mum’s been sentenced to four years.

As Sally tries to soothe the distraught girls, Tim answers a knock at the door to find it’s the social worker with a psychologist in tow. As they explain they are happy for the family to stay together a scream is heard from the garden, what has happened?
