Can they give Lucy the help she needs?

 19-25 SEPTEMBER

When Sally reveals that she plans to attend the pub quiz, Lucy’s face darkens, and she makes out she’s not feeling well.

Looking at Lucy’s art project, Sally is concerned to see a picture of an angry woman, clutching her head. When Sally asks her if it depicts her Mum, Lucy sees red.

Showing Tim the picture, Sally describes how Lucy lost her temper. But when Lucy apologises to Tim, he's quickly taken in.

Back at home, Lucy watches with mounting anger as Tim pulls Brody in for a hug. And Sally worries they’re not cut out to deal with Lucy and that she needs professional help,

After Joanie makes a dig at Lucy about the bruise on Sally’s face, Lucy apologises to Sally and, hugging her, tells her she reminds her of her Mum. Will Sally soften to the idea of helping Lucy?

Later, Shanice watches as Lucy writes in her grief journal, and Lucy is touched when Shanice tells her she hopes Lucy feels happy soon.

Sally and Tim are pleased to think that Lucy is spending time with Shanice. But when Ronnie leads a tipsy Lucy back to No.4, Sally and Tim are unimpressed.

Coronation Street continues Monday to Friday at 8.30pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
