As Sarah keeps her forthcoming fertility appointment at the clinic a secret from her family, she manipulates Cain into advancing her wages as she needs the money for it.

At the Fertility Clinic, despite the doctor’s concerns, Sarah’s doggedly determined to fulfil her dream of motherhood.

Back home, Sarah’s hell bent on not only becoming a mother but on keeping it a secret from her family.

The next day, Sarah’s nervous but excited as she prepares for a further examination at the Fertility Clinic. Dr Knapp tries not to alarm her as she advises how she found some inflammation while examining her cervix.

Fearing the worst, once home, Sarah can’t bring herself to open up to Vanessa about what transpired at her appointment, resolving to suffer in secret.

When Sarah attempts to talk to Cain and Charity, they're both busy and with the family distracted by other news, Sarah slips away to her hospital appointment alone where she’s forced to face her potential cancer diagnosis.

Later, Sarah’s isolated as she awaits the results of her biopsy.
