Shaun turns on Joe after being sacked on suspicion of blackmail in Emmerdale

Following Joe's attack, what does Doctor Crowley want?

Joe’s fearful as the harassment campaign against him culminates in an envelope containing a blackmail demand for £100,000 being placed in the kitchen at Home Farm. Unsure of who else to trust, Joe shows the blackmail demand to Sam Dingle but he’s none-the-wiser as to who left it there.

Soon, suspecting his fearless henchman Shaun could be behind this, Joe sacks him for disloyalty and Shaun turns on him threateningly. However, gun-toting Sam appears in the nick of time.

After talking things through with Sam, Joe decides to get away and later tells Dawn he’s got a short notice departure for a business trip. But just as he’s ready to go, he gets knocked out cold by a shovel-wielding Shaun.

Woozy and disorientated, Joe awakens in a makeshift hospital room to a menacing Crowley looming over him.

Will Joe come to regret using Doctor Crowley for his kidney transplant? What does he want?
