Will this lead to them both getting into trouble?
At school, a surprise practice maths test has Charlie freaking out and rather than taking help from Hunter and admitting he’s struggling, Charlie, wanting to look cool in front of his peers, makes a joke out of failing his exam by not answering any questions, landing himself a detention.
After Shing Lin covers for him on why he missed his detention, Charlie starts to panic after finding out that his class will have another test the following day.
When Charlie turns down Shing Lin's offer of tutoring, saying there isn’t enough time, she has another idea. But is this going to lead to them both getting into trouble?
Not wanting another failed test, Shing Lin helps Charlie to steal tomorrow's test paper from a teacher’s cabinet. Later, just in the nick of time, Charlie and Shing Lin manage to put back the stolen exam questions. But with the answers memorised, will the teacher suspect something?
The next day, with another exam looming over Charlie and no exam papers to steal, Shing Lin offers to help tutor him. Feeling more confident about his schoolwork, Charlie looks forward to spending more time with Shing Lin. But when Ella calls him a ‘baby’ for needing help with his exams and sees Shing Lin laugh along, is this end of their friendship?
Later, Shing Lin apologises to Charlie and explains that she’s still new and still trying to fit in and make friends.
