When Shona drags him to her antenatal class, David moans to one woman that the whole thing is a waste of time, and is mortified to discover she’s the teacher.

Later, David moans to Shona about his missing present from Gail and how she swears blind it’s been delivered.

As Shona puts away the Christmas decorations, she suffers a twinge and struggles to draw breath, and David insists on taking her to get checked out.
