After Reiss is called into a client crisis, Sonia is upset at having to spend her day off at the hospice. And Whitney later encourages Sonia to tell Reiss the truth about her feelings towards Debbie.
When Sonia is late on her period, she tells Whitney that she's worried that she might be pregnant.
Later, as Reiss tries to set up a lunch date to apologise for his previous insensitivity around Sonia’s feelings towards Debbie, he accidentally puts his foot in it when he drunkenly shares his negative views towards the prospect of children, unaware of Sonia’s predicament.
