Is she suffering another bipolar episode?

 17-23 MAY

With Jean and Mo away, Lily and Freddie are trying to run the Slater house alone as Stacey refuses to leave her bedroom.

With the strain taking its toll on her, Lily lies to Kat and Eve to cover up the truth. However, after Freddie realises Lily is skipping school to do chores, he tells Kat the truth and asks her to help them.

At the Slater house, Kat is worried by what she discovers and, taking control, calls a family meeting with Alfie, Eve and Suki. They all discuss sharing childcare, but worry that Stacey might need professional help.

When Stacey finally emerges, she finds everyone in the kitchen and dismisses Kat’s attempts to get through to her.

Later, Lily breaks down when she realises that Stacey isn’t coming out of her bedroom.

After Stacey leaves the house for the first time in weeks, Kat is concerned when she invites them for a big family meal, fearing she’s trying to do too much too soon. As she tries to force merriment at home, Stacey soon realises that her coat and mobile phone have accidentally fallen into the laundry bag and Freddie has taken them to be washed.

Stacey explains that the mobile contains voicemails, photos and texts from Martin, and they’ll be lost forever if the phone is damaged. As she races off to rescue the phone, Alfie is shaken when Arthur tells him a secret.

At the laundrette, Kat and Lily try to calm Stacey, fearing she’s experiencing a bipolar episode. However, when Alfie shares Arthur’s intel, an incident between Stacey and Lily leaves their relationship at breaking point.
