But was that the right thing to do?
FOR WEEK COMMENCING 26TH FEBRUARY
During a pep talk before a football game, a joke at his expense referring to his sexuality has Lucas rattled. And when Lucas asks Frankie out for a burger, this leads to a fight between him and JJ,
When Lucas tells Dillon about his dad’s relapse, it looks like the two teens are about to share a kiss until Scott walks in, and Lucas runs off.
Trying to talk to Lucas about his feelings for Dillon, Scott shares some advice from his past experiences.
Later, when Scott arrives at the school to see John Paul, Lucas sees him and seeks some advice on how to know if you want to be more than just friends with someone.
As Lucas tries to speak to Dillon, Carter interrupts them and once alone, Carter tells Lucas he heard his conversation with Scott and he must try to make better choices in life.
Returning to the village, Ste wants to know what’s going on with Lucas and as Scott tries to help defend the teen, Ste believes there’s more than going on with Lucas and his behaviour wasn’t just down to him leaving and tries to get to the bottom of it.
But when Carter interrupts, Ste gives him consent to help Lucas with his anger and to introduce him to a friend in his church who went through similar problems growing up.
Later, Carter takes Lucas to meet Declan Hawthorne at the church who begins questioning Ste and James relationship and the teen’s own relationship with Dillon.
Wanting to be better, Lucas cleans the house to his dad’s astonishment and tells him he’s sorry for trashing the youth centre. At school, much to JJ’s disappointment, Carter offers the role of team captain of the football team to Lucas and encourages him to get to know Frankie.
When Dillon asks Lucas if he wants to do something to celebrate him becoming captain, what will he say?
