As he trawls online for clues about James’ death, Ste tells Leela that he believes he is still alive. But Leela insists that Ste’s mind is playing tricks on him and he should instead be focusing on Lucas, who needs him to step up for him.
Later, Joel assures the family that they have Ste back on track after his wild ideas that James is alive. And Dillon continues to try and keep away from Lucas, even though it’s the last thing he wants to do.
The following day at the garage, Ste spies on Rex as he packs up tools and a balaclava, as he searches for clues about James and is onto something untoward going on.
When Grace busts Rex doing dodgy deals in the garage, he argues that the money makes it worth it. But she’s worried that if Robbie gets wind of it he will go to social services about Lexi and confronts Robbie, who is losing faith in Rex.
