Ste opens up to James as Rex’s secret is exposed in Hollyoaks

Will Ste’s kiss with James change everything?

Ste and Rex have a meeting with the wedding celebrant today, but Rex can’t make it, claiming to be too busy at the garage.

Deciding to go to the meeting himself, Ste praises Rex for how strong he’s been since Froggy’s death, but it becomes clear Rex isn’t as busy as he claims.

Later, Ro lets slip to Ste that Rex hasn’t been to work since Froggy died, and it's not long before Ste catches Rex dancing in a woman’s blouse.

After confronting him for doing this instead of going to work, Ste tells Rex to let him in. And after getting it on at the garage, Ste assures Rex that there is no more hiding. And after finding a flyer for Jenson’s club night, Ro encourages Rex to go to the event in his new look.

When Ste shows Sienna some dress options for the wedding, he gets defensive when she finds a woman’s blouse in the back of the sofa, not wanting her to know about Rex’s crossdressing.

At the club night, Ste is lost for words when Rex turns up in a woman’s blouse, and when Jenson praises Rex on the mic, Ste takes it the wrong way and lashes out.

Following a disastrous night, Ste ends up at the police station, and James turns up to help. As Ste opens up to him about not feeling comfortable with Rex’s crossdressing, tension sizzles between the former flames.

Frustrated, Rex smashes up a car at the garage, and after hearing a car alarm, Ro turns up at the garage. As Rex tells him about what happened with Ste, Rex feels like he has no one left, but Ro assures him he does.

Later, Ste makes a decision and goes to meet James in Dee Valley Law, and the pair share a stolen kiss.
