With Leah and Lucas asleep on the boat, Imran wakes them and tells them that Leela has been calling as while they were on a pit stop at a shopping centre on the way to the spa, Ste vanished!

Leah reasons that people don’t just vanish into thin air and he must be sleeping off his relapse.

After their search proved hopeless, Mercedes and Leela arrive back in Hollyoaks, praying they will find him at home.

Back in the Lomaxes, Lucas is haunted by the events that happened between him and his dad over the years. And Imran soon finds him distraught and having a panic attack.

Sleuths Mercedes and Leela try to get more intel on James’ movements that day, and later at the Dog, Ste’s friends and family turn on James and interrogate him over Ste.

Later, Sienna tells James she fears Ste has overdosed or been in an accident, and before long, James breaks down over missing Ste.
