Stephanie Waring returning to Hollyoaks as Cindy Cunningham

She'll make her return this July!

Hollyoaks has confirmed that fan favourite Stephanie Waring will be returning to the soap as Cindy Cunningham this summer and has already begun filming her character's return, alongside co-stars Ashley Taylor Dawson, Nick Pickard and new cast members Rebecca Ryan and Matthew Wolfenden.

Cindy Cunningham has a long history in the Chester village, from being the first character to give birth on the show, to marrying Tony Hutchinson twice… Cindy’s not afraid to speak her mind and look glamorous whilst doing so.

Talking about her Hollyoaks return, Stephanie Waring said “I would never pass up the chance to walk in Cindy’s heels again. It feels amazing to be back home"

Her first episode back as Cindy Cunningham is set to air on Wednesday 15th July, and this November marks 30 years since Stephanie first appeared on Hollyoaks, making her one of the longest-serving cast members.
