Taz puts DeMarcus in hospital following Youth Centre opening in Hollyoaks

And when Demarcus makes a difficult decision, what will this mean for Felix?

After vandals spray paint the Youth Centre, DeMarcus is left wondering if it’d be best for him not to be around ruining the hard work his dad has put into the place. But Vicky reminds her boyfriend to not let the cowards beat him and instead to stand up for himself and be there to support his dad.

Later, when dealer Taz passes by the soon-to-be-open Youth Centre, proud of the hard work her man has put into the place Mercedes boasts about how amazing the centre will be with all its brand-new games consoles.

With multiple gas canisters being left outside, Scott worries that there might be a dealer nearby and tells Felix that they must postpone the opening of the Youth Centre.

Determined to still open tomorrow, Felix tells Scott that they need to find out who’s responsible so they can put a stop to it. When Mercedes goes back inside after coming down to help the men clean up the mess in preparation for the opening, Scott witnesses a deal being done by Taz.

When Felix arrives a confrontation sees the Youth Centre owner being given a warning that he must leave the place by the end of the week. Not one to bow down to bullies, Felix tells the dealer that he isn’t going anywhere.

However, when the owner, along with DeMarcus Scott and Mercedes, head back inside they receive a distressing shock which forces Felix to postpone the opening but DeMarcus doesn't want his dad to give up on the Youth Centre after all the hard work he’s put in.

After the place was trashed, Mercedes surprises them by sorting out the place and manages to convince Felix to continue with the opening. And just as the new community centre is opened, DeMarcus comes in to give his dad the good news that someone must have had a guilty conscience as he found the stolen game consoles left outside.

With things going successfully, DeMarcus worries when Taz arrives. Spotting him, Felix intervenes and manages to get the dealer and his friend to leave the place, but not before they swipe his keys on the side.

However, after seeing how his dad dealt with Taz, DeMarcus lets him know that he doesn’t agree with making threats. And Felix admits he has concerns of his own over how his son doesn’t defend himself.

Soon, things take a dark turn for DeMarcus and Vicky when outside they’re surrounded by the local dealer and his mates and a fight breaks out between DeMarcus and Taz.

At the hospital, Felix informs Vicky that although DeMarcus has a mild concussion, he will be allowed home later that day. When she tells him what went down outside the youth centre between Taz and DeMarcus, Felix regrets not listening to his son and calling the police.

But Mercedes reminds her man that he's not to blame and Vicky thanks DeMarcus for sticking up for her and facing a bully alone.

Felix gets agitated when he receives a call from DS Zoe to let him know that no arrests have been made yet and things get worse for Felix when DeMarcus blames him for being attacked.

During an honest conversation, DeMarcus opens up to his dad telling him he’ll never be a fighter. Meanwhile, Vicky opens up to Mercedes about how the attack made her realise how much DeMarcus means to her and that she couldn’t imagine her life without him.

With Felix feeling hurt, now that he knows how his son blames him for ending up in the hospital, DeMarcus is determined to make the right choice. What will he decide to do?

Later, Warren speaks to DeMarcus as a friend, reminding him how his dad was the only one who stuck by him when he was carrying a knife and the teen explains how grateful he is that his dad took him in. And Felix soon sees red when he discovers Warren agrees with DeMarcus’ choice.
