Theo surprises Todd with a wedding in Corrie

How will a shell-shocked Todd react?

21-27 MARCH

Having sabotaged Todd’s marathon preparation, Theo joins Sarah, James, Gemma and Chesney at the tram stop and tells them that he knocked on Todd’s door, but there was no reply, and he must have set off already.

Waking up groggy and confused, Todd is horrified to realise that he’s missed the marathon. And when Theo returns to the street with his medal, an embarrassed Todd hides from his friends.

Theo persuades Todd to let him in, and as he despairs at how he’s let everybody down, Theo pulls him in for a hug. Will Todd succumb to Theo once more?

When George tentatively suggests that Theo isn’t good for him, Todd takes offence, and over lunch, Theo assures George and Christina that he’s a changed man and Todd’s happiness is his priority.

George smiles, but when Theo heads out, he drops the façade and explains to Christina that they need to keep him on side.

As Theo attempts to rekindle his relationship with Todd, he confides in Gary before telling Todd he has a surprise planned for him.

Calling at the undertakers dressed to the nines, Theo leads a blindfolded Todd into the register office where Gary and Maria wait. Producing two wedding rings, Theo explains to Todd that they never cancelled their wedding, so they can still go ahead. How will a shell-shocked Todd react?

The following day, Todd's got a banging headache, and an unimpressed Theo heads out for a run.

After George calls for a cuppa, Theo returns and, assuming that Todd is in the bathroom, shouts abusive remarks through the door.
