Things are looking up for Ed as he plans to get back to work in Corrie

But will he use his insurance money wisely?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 8TH APRIL

Opening a letter from the insurance company, Ed is pleasantly surprised to see that they’re going to pay out more than he was expecting and tells Dee-Dee and Michael that he intends to spend his insurance money on a new set of tools so that he can get back to work.

However, Dee-Dee and Michael reckon he’d be better off using the money to pay off a chunk of his debt. 

Later, Debbie offers Ed a job as handyman at the Chariot Square Hotel which he gratefully accepts, pleased that things are looking up.
