Todd makes the shock decision to run after being pushed too far by Theo in Corrie

But will Theo find a way to get him back?

When Theo asks Todd if he’s looking forward to Christmas, Todd changes the subject and remarks how good it was to be back at work. Theo bristles.

Returning with stacks of shopping, Theo explains that he’s invited all their friends for Christmas dinner but he’ll be doing the cooking, how will Todd react?

When George, Christina, Summer and Glenda join Todd and Theo for Christmas lunch, Summer reveals that she’s bought Todd tickets to an Andrew Scott retrospective because she knows he’s always fancied him, and Theo bristles.

While their guests play charades, Theo loses his temper and smashes a wine glass on the floor.

Later, Theo tells Todd he’s treating him to a mini break and Todd’s delighted until he realises it clashes with the event which Summer booked him as a present. Under Theo’s steely glare, what will Todd decide?

As the guests gather in the bistro for George and Glenda’s joint party, Nick chats to Todd and suggests they go for a run together. But when Sarah lets slip that Nick was Todd’s first ever crush, Theo glares over at them.

With Christina annoyed to discover that Glenda failed to order a cake. Theo tells her that he and Todd will go and fetch one. As he steers Todd towards the door, Billy watches with concern.

Having collected the cake, Theo rounds on Todd for flirting with Nick who tries to reason with him. But Theo climbs in the car and drives off leaving Todd stranded.

Meanwhile, with Todd preying on his mind, Billy quizzes Alya about the domestic abuse Yasmeen suffered at the hands of Geoff and how to spot the signs.

When George, Christina, Billy and Summer join him for New Year’s Eve drinks in the Rovers, Todd waits for Theo to arrive, and it’s clear he’s nervous. What has Todd got planned?

And when Billy and Summer drop by, Todd finds himself on edge and quizzes Billy about ‘the parishioner’ who is suffering domestic abuse. Evasive, Billy suspects that Theo knows he’s onto him and when they leave, Theo rounds on Todd, seeing red. Horrified at what he’s done, Theo tries to blame Todd for causing him to lose his temper.

When Theo’s phone rings, Todd seizes the opportunity and does a runner. But when he listens to a message from Theo telling him he can’t live without him, will Todd be swayed?

At Debbie and Ronnie’s wedding, as the guests sit down to dinner, Todd spills orange juice down his shirt and Theo orders him to go and rinse it. Following Todd into the gents, Billy is horrified to find Todd rinsing his shirt in the basin, revealing the bruises on his body. But Todd assures Billy that he’s as much at fault as Theo.
