Todd’s surprise decision rocks George and Christina in Corrie

When a courier calls at No.11 with a parcel for Christina, she feels deeply embarrassed and admits to Todd that she still hasn't got a grip on her spending.

When George spies the parcel, Todd quickly covers for her and makes out that it’s his, before warning Christina that he won’t cover for her again and she shouldn’t be keeping secrets from George. Christina assures him she’s going to mend her ways.

At No.11, Todd confides in Summer that Christina is still spending money she hasn’t got and hiding the fact from George.

After Summer warns Todd that it could all end in disaster, he confides in James about his plan to give Theo's life insurance away.

Meanwhile, Christina tells a skint George that she is sure their luck is about to change as Todd will be giving George a share of the life insurance, but has she jumped the gun?

In the Rovers, Todd and Summer reveal that they’ve booked flights to Thailand for tomorrow and they’re going to visit Eileen and Jason.
