With concerns over the health of the baby, what will Yazz decide to do?
When Yazz goes to a careers day at the school where she’s giving a talk, things get on top of her when she realises Hunter expects her to do a talk on being a receptionist rather than a journalist.
When Tom comes across Yazz in the park, she finally opens up to him, and later at home tries to cheer her up. When he goes to make hot chocolate, we see she’s holding a positive pregnancy test.
Having hidden the pregnancy test in the kitchen, Yazz doesn't want to leave the house when Tom surprises her with a picnic.
Wanting her to follow her dreams, Tom tells Yazz that he sent in one of her old articles to the University of Manchester for a post-graduate course and they’d like a video call with her today. But when a worn-out Darren crashes the picnic and says how tiring parenting can be, Yazz looks worried.
Back at home, after having cancelled her online meeting and being unable to think clear, Yazz blurts out to her husband that she’s pregnant and admits she’s concerned about being on immunosuppressants, worrying it will affect the baby.
But with Yazz unable to ask her mum for medical advice, Tom calms her down and says he’ll help support her whatever she decides.
After some research online Yazz is still unsure what to do with her pregnancy, concerned Tom asks if she’s just looking for an excuse not to go through with it.
Turning up at the Maaliks, Cindy asks Yazz and Tom if she can move in there with Hilton and Yazz quickly jumps in saying no, that they’ve enough on their hands with Steph.
However, Tom feels hurt that his wife made his child sound like a burden and questions if she even wants a family. When Yazz is telling Tom her concerns and doubts about having a baby, Zain walks in overhearing.
Wanting time on his own, Tom walks out, whilst Zain comforts his stepdaughter, telling her she has to do what’s right for her, reminding her that she’s already a family with Tom and Steph.
Elsewhere, with Juliet’s prognosis the top priority on everyone’s mind, James tells Ste he’s going to call to cancel the honeymoon. Determined to be there for his husband, Ste promises he’ll be strong for both of them and be there to support him through all the pain.
