With Mother's Day approaching, will Diane tell the kids?

 7-13 MARCH

After receiving a diagnosis for advanced stage ovarian cancer, Diane tries to get through the morning routine with her children.

Unaware of the news, an upbeat Tony returns home with brother Dom in tow after their golf retreat.

Meanwhile, Prince is teaching a yoga class at the school, which Diane has forgotten about, but Nancy encourages her to attend. Meeting up with Leela, the trio catch up on daily life, where Diane casually mentions that she has been diagnosed with cancer, leaving her friends speechless and distraught.

By the time Diane returns home, Tony has sent Dom home after finding his wife’s diagnosis letter. When Diane confirms it’s true, they are both devastated by her prognosis.

With Mother’s Day coming up, Diane finds an added layer of heartbreak as Dee Dee, unaware of her mum’s diagnosis, keeps taking jabs at her.

Meanwhile, Tony is determined to get a second opinion from the doctors.

At the Grand Bazaar, the Hutchinson children shop for a Mother’s Day present for Diane and Nancy, realising that she mustn’t have told them yet, tells Darren.

Hollyoaks continues Monday to Wednesday at 7pm on E4 with first look episodes available at 7am on Channel 4 streaming
