Tony struggles to support Diane as she begins chemotherapy in Hollyoaks

Will a family lunch go to plan?

At home, Diane puts on a brave face for her children before heading to the hospital to begin chemotherapy, armed with magazines the teens bought to keep her occupied.

Diane promises they can enjoy Easter when she’s home, but Tony worries it’ll be too much for her.

When Nancy arrives at the hospital to support her, Diane confides in her that Tony's fussing is making her anxious. As Tony is bombarded with calls from the children, who are trying to make a surprise roast for Diane, she urges him to go home and help before the kitchen goes up in flames, whilst Nancy offers to stay at the hospital.

As he walks into chaos, the kitchen in ruins and the chicken burnt, an already struggling Tony just wants to be there for his wife and breaks down.

Wanting to create normality, Diane tells Tony she’s getting ready for a family lunch.

Meanwhile, a struggling Ant opens up to Kathleen-Angel outside The Dog, who offers a shoulder to lean on, but seeing the embrace, Theresa jumps to conclusions and scolds them,
