Toyah is arrested for murder after the body of a baby is found in Corrie

And Leanne bids an emotional farewell to Simon

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 3RD JUNE

LEANNE AND SIMON ARE LIKE SHIPS IN THE NIGHT

TOYAH MAKES UP HER MINDSET

NICK FEARS LEANNE IS OUT OF HER MINDSET

Finally returning from the retreat, Leanne explains that her workshop overran so she stayed an extra night.

When Simon reveals that he’s leaving to join Peter on his yacht, Leanne is furious that nobody bothered to consult her about it. Nick assures her that he left a message with Rowan, which he obviously failed to pass on.

After waving Simon off, Leanne chats to someone on her laptop, telling them how now her son's gone, she’s all alone and wishes she could be with them.

Later, Bethany reveals to Toyah that a colleague of hers once tried to write an exposé about the Institute but was met by a wall of silence. When Rowan calls at the flat, Leanne hugs him and when he shows her Toyah’s negative posts about the Institute, Leanne’s incensed.

In the bistro, Toyah receives a hand delivered letter and is shocked to discover that the Institute is suing her for defamation and taking out an injunction. Will she drop her campaign against the Institute?

Meanwhile, Nick tries to make Leanne see that Toyah is trying to protect her from a corrupt organisation run by a madman. But Leanne refuses to listen and as Nick heads out, she opens her laptop, smiles at the person on the screen and tells them she loves them.

Catching her, Toyah is shocked and reckons Leanne is talking to Rowan. Telling Nick what she heard, Toyah heads straight home where he finds Rowan and Leanne holding hands on the sofa. Will Leanne have an explanation?

When Toyah begs Leanne to open her eyes and see Rowan for what he really is, they're interrupted when the police arrive and Kit arrests Toyah for murder after the body of a baby was found buried in the park.
