At No.9, Cassie clocks Hope and Ruby engrossed in an email on Hope’s phone, but when she tries to quiz them, they refuse to be drawn, and explain that it’s a surprise for Tyrone.

Later, in the Rovers, as Tyrone and Fiz share a bottle of prosecco, their romantic mood is ruined when Steve, Cassie and Tracy plonk themselves down uninvited.

Cassie tells Steve that she is fed up with Tracy trying to drive a wedge between them, and Tyrone tells Cassie that if she really loves Steve, she will have to live with it.

Deciding the time has come to claim her man, Cassie makes a bold move and drops to one knee in the cab office and proposes! How will Steve react?

Feeling let down by Steve, Cassie is annoyed to see him helping Tracy with a flower delivery and looking like a happy couple. Deciding to drown her sorrows, she heads to the Chariot Square and, necking back vodka, chats up a bloke at the bar.

Unaware that Steve is looking for her, she makes a pass at the bloke. Is she about to make a big mistake?

At No.9, a conspiratorial Hope tells Ruby that everything is in place for tomorrow. But when Fiz questions what they’re up to, Hope assures her it’s nothing bad, but just a nice surprise.

Returning home, a self-loathing Cassie returns home to see the family and explains how she just needed some time to herself and accepts Hope’s invitation to a family meal at the Bistro.

When Steve tells Cassie he wants to forget the last few days and get back to where they were, she hides her guilt.

Hope and Ruby reveal they have a surprise for Tyrone; they sent off a sample of his DNA, traced his dad, and he’s here now. How will Tyrone and Cassie react as Ross enters the Bistro?

In the café, Cassie warns Ross that Tyrone is stubborn and unlikely to change his mind about meeting up with him. But Ross advises her to try harder.

Liking what she sees, Tracy strikes up a conversation with Ross, and when Tyrone and Cassie call at Speed Daal for a takeaway, they are taken aback to find Steve, Tracy and Ross sharing a table.
