As Vanessa and Suzy come to terms with their relationship being over.
With time running out, Rhona has a big decision to make about buying Jamie’s share of the veterinary business and when Kim arrives demanding an answer, she agrees.
Soon, Vanessa is left unimpressed when Rhona tells her about buying Jamie’s share and things get heated as Rhona reveals the conditions of the new contract - where Kim gets 15% off veterinary bills - and an angry Vanessa tells her she’s accepting a job in Canada.
Tipsy and furious, Vanessa and Rhona continue to argue and they hit rock bottom when they both bring up things better left in the past.
The next day, Vanessa nurses a mighty hangover and with Suzy missing, her anxieties surrounding her absence begin to resurface.
Stunned to find Suzy giggling with Leyla amongst a mass of cake, tissue and tears, Vanessa assumes they’ve both started using again and is furious by the betrayal. With Suzy tired of setting a stubborn Vanessa straight, Leyla provides evidence of their sobriety leaving Vanessa mortified to have jumped to such a conclusion.
As they come to terms with the fact their relationship is over, Vanessa and Suzy are left heartbroken.
At the pub, everyone cheers as Vanessa arrives at her farewell party and they're shocked to learn that Suzy won't be joining her.
Realising things are over, Vanessa bursts into tears and everyone says their emotional goodbyes to her as she puts the last of her things in the taxi.
