Big Mood, big comedy, big drama, big week!



This week's best telly includes the return of five big shows, including Channel 4's hit comedy Big Mood, U&Drama's reimagining of Bergerac, Netflix's hit comedy drama Beef, the fifth and final season of Hacks on Sky and the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria.


Elsewhere, Alison Hammond hosts Channel 4's new feel-good show Your Song, Sara Pascoe and Roisin Conaty team up for TLC's new travel show Zero Stars, Joanna Scanlan leads 5's new stripped drama Missed Call, and Elle Fanning leads Apple TV's newest comedy drama, Margo's Got Money Troubles.

In the first episode, Alison heads to Liverpool, the world capital of pop, inviting people to perform on the Your Song stage. And with mentors Paloma Faith and Sam Ryder hidden from the singers, a remarkable group of performers bare their souls.


A teenager with the most beautiful smile sings Bocelli for the foster mum he can't find words to thank. A kidney transplant recipient is so extraordinary that she brings Sam and Paloma sprinting out into the downpour.


And a lift engineer finally stops hiding the voice he's been saving for the shower. Who will make the Hackney Empire final?

David E. Kelley's new comedy drama, Margo's Got Money Troubles, based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Rufi Thorpe, launches this week on Apple TV, and stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman and Nick Offerman.


Margo's Got Money Troubles is a bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo, played by Elle Fanning, the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, and ex-pro wrestler, played by Nick Offerman, as she's forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.

Damien Molony returns as Jim Bergerac this week in the second series of Bergerac on U&Drama, with returning cast members Zoë Wanamaker as Charlie Hungerford, Robert Gilbert as Barney Crozier, Chloé Sweetlove as Kim Bergerac and Sasha Behar as Uma Dalal.


This series will see Jim Bergerac starting to put his life back together, while his mother-in-law, Charlie Hungerford, has a new man in her life.


Jim’s even tentatively dating, with Kim’s encouragement, although it’s a big step for him. But then he meets Nicola, a visitor to Jersey, and they connect. Could this be the start of something for Jim?


However, before the relationship even has time to blossom, Jim is pulled back into his next big case. When the groom at a wedding reception on the island is found murdered in his hotel room, the wedding party comes under intense suspicion and scrutiny. Jim will have to decipher the victim’s cryptic last words from his speech if he is ever going to bring the killer to justice.


And when Jim starts to unravel old secrets, more skeletons come to light, making this his most intricate case yet.
